Lack of motivation

Lack of motivation can consist of procrastination, not working towards your goals, depression, and many other disturbances. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a great method for individuals with low motivation because it works to change negative thinking patterns and behaviors by identifying what unhealthy patterns of thinking that individual have. CBT helps the individual develop new and more helpful ways of thinking which increases an individual’s motivation and sense of accomplishment. Individuals that are able to do this often begin committing to their goals within a short period of time.
