Cynthia is a doctoral student at Point Park University and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Prior to coming to CBI, she completed her undergraduate degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Pennsylvania State University and master’s degree in Professional Counseling at New Mexico Highlands University. Cynthia gained 7+ years experience working as a licensed master level counselor. She specializes in working with adult clients, veterans, and victims of domestic violence or sexual assault who experience PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Cynthia aims to foster a person’s autonomy to aid a client’s understanding of themselves in their world using an existential humanistic approach.
