Michaela graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish in 2018. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she recently earned her Master of Arts in Psychology in May of 2022. Prior to returning to school for her graduate education, Michaela worked as a Behavior Technician, providing ABA therapy for children with autism, and worked within a large psychiatric hospital providing services to children and adolescents on inpatient units. Michaela is interested in working with children and adolescents presenting with internalizing (e.g., depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety) and externalizing (e.g., oppositional and noncompliant behavior, tantrums, emotional outbursts, ADHD-related concerns) behaviors and their families/caregivers. She is also interested in conducting psychodiagnostic evaluations for children/adolescents in order to provide valuable treatment or accommodation recommendations for caregivers or school personnel.
