Her experience has been working in clinical mental health for the last 5 years, focusing on families, children and the Autism population. She specializes in working with clients who have symptoms related to anxiety, depression, attention-deficit, trauma, behavioral issues, low self-esteem thoughts, and Autism spectrum disorders.
Her belief is to work with clients in a collaborative approach to ensure clients feel heard, understood and are able to address their issues at a pace that is most comfortable for them. She strives to make certain that clients view therapy as a place that is safe, provides support and also promotes change in a way that is nurturing yet challenging. Lindsay integrates play, music and art therapy into her work with school age, and adolescent children, and prefers to involve families as much as possible.
“Mental strength is not the ability to stay out of the darkness; it is the ability to sit present in the darkness knowing that the light will shine again”
