Amber Rogers, LPC
Amber received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Slippery Rock University. During undergrad studies, she was heavily involved with the International Honors Society of Psychology and ultimately held office. After graduating Slippery Rock, she attended Geneva College and studied Clinical Mental Health. At that time, she was awarded Ruth Stacey Counselor Award and nominated for Chi Sigma Iota. She also participated as a guest speaker at the American Counseling Association conference held at Penn State University. Amber has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Upon completion of graduate school, Amber began her career at Gateway Rehab Center as a Clinical Specialist. She specialized in evaluating clients to determine the appropriate level of care for each individual and coordinating with hospitals, jails, and county referrals to help individuals get into treatment. Outside of Clinical Specialist, Amber has worked with the Outreach Team to educate hospitals and Social workers on identifying the need for continued treatment for patients.
