Melissa joined CBI in January of 2017. Melissa has over 15 years of experience working in the fields of mental health and substance abuse counseling. In addition to her work at CBI, Melissa is a Behavioral Health Specialist with Highmark Health Insurance and an adjunct professor at both Argosy University and Point Park University. Melissa completed her undergraduate degree at Duquesne University, her MA in community counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her doctorate in counseling psychology from Argosy University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania as well as a National Certified Gambling Counselor  (NCGC-1). Melissa specializes in substance abuse issues, problem gambling, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and grief/bereavement.
