Faith Detwiler is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in individuals, women, couples, and families.  She sees relationships as central to our lives and worth fighting for. Faith brings her expertise into the elements of trauma, grief, loss, patterns of relating, family of origin, and attachment issues that can affect even the strongest individuals and families. She uses years of experience working from a strength-based approach to value what each individual and the family as a whole have to offer any situation.

Faith graduated from Geneva College with a Masters of Art degree in Counseling, where she was a member of Chi Sigma Iota National Honor Society and worked as a therapist with college aged students. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Messiah College where she received the Most Outstanding Psychology Student award.  Faith is a National Certified Counselor.

Faith sees trauma, grief, patterns of relating, attachment and family of origin issues as underlying a variety of symptoms, diagnoses, and relational issues.  She utilizes the Eco Systemic Structural model in working with individuals and families in order to help them apply effective tools for shifting patterns of relating that no longer serve them.  Faith applies insight, warmth, humor, education, art, storytelling, and team work to provide a safe space, positive relationship, and guidance. Faith seeks to provide a safe space because “We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” -Brene Brown.
