Janie Gibson, LPC
Janie Gibson, M.S.Ed., LPC is a licensed counselor with over 15 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to address a variety of mental health needs. Janie takes a collaborative approach, working with clients to help them develop a “tool box” to address current and future obstacles related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, martial and family issues, and adjustment to any changes life may throw their way. Janie has a particular interest in working with older teens and young adults to help them successfully navigate the numerous changes and adjustments that occur as they move into adulthood, including managing school and job-related stress and navigating increasingly complex interpersonal relationships. Janie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clarion University and her Master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Duquesne University.
