Janie Gibson, M.S.Ed., LPC is a licensed counselor with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples to address a variety of mental health needs. Janie takes a collaborative approach, working with clients to help them develop a “tool box” to address current and future obstacles related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, marital and family issues, and adjustment to any changes life may throw their way. Janie has a particular interest in working with adult women facing periods of transition, including moving from school into the work force, and navigating changes in interpersonal relationships, career, or family responsibilities. Janie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clarion University and her Master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Duquesne University.
