Tonette Whitted, LPC
Tonette Whitted joined CBI in November of 2017 and has over 10 years experience in the mental health field. She is dedicated to providing effective and practical tools that will encourage transformation for those she serves. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Geneva College and a Masters of Education with a focus in Counselor Education/Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in the "work of people and building up the whole person." Tonette has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, children and families with a wide range of issues such as; Anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Eating disorders, Family Reunification and Identity Development. Tonette considers herself “outside the box” in making sure treatment is tailored to each individual in addressing their needs. She has a passion to help individuals dig deep, talk about the hard subjects”, and embrace change in order to truly heal from life's circumstances. The goal is to walk away from therapy with a fresh set of tools and an enlarged perspective on life. Tonette is passionate about seeing each individual exceed their goals and ultimately grow within the therapeutic process.
