Alexandra “Allie” Rizzo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Allie completed her undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College, then went on to the University of Pittsburgh to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma. Allie takes a person-centered approach to therapy by building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a space of acceptance and understanding. She utilizes evidenced-based practices, such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to promote healing and empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Allie is passionate about helping individuals identify their strengths, learn new coping strategies, and let go of the things that no longer serve them.
