Katherine (Katie) McCall is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with a BA from Vassar College and an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. Katie has extensive experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, addiction, and trauma in diverse treatment settings. The variety of therapeutic approaches she utilizes in therapy, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, are focused on empowering clients to build on their strengths to identify and achieve their goals. Her priority in her work is to create an understanding and compassionate atmosphere and to build a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients, through which they can gain insight into their worldview and self-concept and develop healthy coping strategies to make positive changes in their lives. Katie believes that therapy should be a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions and cultivate the skills they need to feel whole, connected, and confident.
