Stacy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW and a graduate from California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2009. The Master of Social Work degree was in advanced generalist practice with a rural emphasis. She specializes working with individuals in various ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic backgrounds and mental health issues. She is experienced with veterans and active duty servicemembers, geriatrics and forensics having worked jointly with other treatment teams serving adolescents from ages 12-21 placed in residential treatment programs. She is passionate about helping individuals learn about themselves and their strengths for a better quality of life. She considers herself as a companion of hope and continues to learn from the people she serves. She focuses on utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, stress inoculation, problem solving, Solution focused, strengths perspective, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. She is knowledgeable in working with individuals on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and stress disorders, behavioral issues and anger management, grief, loss and bereavement, geriatrics, and personality disorders. She also has previous experience as a behavioral health coach, medical Social Worker, homelessness and other case management. She is currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional and holds a certification of an Older Adult Competent Clinician.
