Ellen Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who works with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and transition and/or adjustment challenges. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and is currently working towards a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Counselor Education and Supervision from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As a therapist, she is intentional about balancing challenges with encouragement, and passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help them find greater joy and peace in their lives in addition to accomplishing goals. She predominantly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy with a strengths-based perspective that promotes client empowerment and sustainable growth.
