Nicole Gibson is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and earned a Master of Science in Education degree from Duquesne University. Through Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy’s 10-month intensive training program, Nicole became certified in Cognitive Therapy. As a result of this training, she gained experience with applying evidenced-based practices with adjustment disorder, panic disorder, specific phobia (e.g., vomiting, elevators, airplanes), agoraphobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder. In 2020, Nicole became a certified exposure and ritual prevention therapist through the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at University of Pennsylvania. She values the importance of the therapeutic relationship, while also integrating evidence-based interventions. She provides tele behavioral health services to those 18 and older. Nicole is a Board Certified Telehealth Professional through Telehealth.org. Nicole offers this service based on patient appropriateness and their insurance and license eligibility.
