Katherine is a Licensed Psychologist at CBI. She completed her undergraduate degree at Bates College in Maine and went on to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates, LLC in Chicago. Throughout her training Katherine has worked with clients across the lifespan in a variety of treatment settings, including community mental health, academic medical centers, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, and private practice.  Katherine has clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, OCD, mood concerns, interpersonal difficulties, acute stress, post-traumatic stress, and grief/loss. Katherine also has experience conducting psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.   Clinically, Katherine utilizes a flexible and collaborative approach to treatment based on the client’s needs and personal goals. She prioritizes the quality of the alliance between therapist and client in effort to facilitate meaningful change. Her treatment approach integrates aspects of CBT, Psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based treatments. She offers a supportive environment in which evidence-based interventions are adapted to best meet the needs of individuals working with her.
