Sam is currently pursuing his master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University. With over 10 years of experience working with college students in the higher education context, Sam is working towards becoming a licensed professional counselor where he will serve clients by collaboratively working towards their goals on their journey to wellness. Sam firmly believes in the inherent dignity and value of every person and will strive to serve each client through empathic listening, empowerment, and evidence-based interventions tailored to the client’s unique needs and circumstances. The opportunity to be deeply listened to and attuned to is all too rare, and he is committed to providing that space for his clients where they can confidently express themselves in order to pursue healing and wellness. Sam also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing guitar, and seeing live music.
