Sarah Clayton (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years experience dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s challenges with evidence-based care. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sarah supports clients in developing skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, negotiate relationships, and build a life aligned with their values.
As a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, Sarah also guides clients with compassion, curiosity, and respect to deeper self-awareness and to foster space for healing. Sarah earned an undergraduate degree from Oberlin College followed by an MSW at University of Pittsburgh. She specializes in depression, trauma, and anxiety. She provides LGBTQ+ affirming therapy rooted in inclusivity and respect for all identities and experiences.
