Kelly Paulson is a pre-doctoral psychology intern at CBI. She graduated from Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor of Arts in 2018. She earned a Master of Science degree in Child Psychology (M.S.Ed.) in 2020 and is currently pursuing her doctorate in school psychology (Psy.D.) at Duquesne University. Prior to going back for her graduate education, she worked as a career specialist at a nonprofit located in Cincinnati where she provided job development services to a large clientele of individuals with disabilities. While completing her graduate work, Kelly has gained experience in the private practice setting where she conducted intake interviews, administered psychological evaluations, developed comprehensive treatment plans, and provided individual counseling to children. Kelly also has previous experience working within the school setting, administering assessments and interventions, providing consultation, and creating comprehensive education plans to promote student success. In all facets of her work, she examines individual factors to generate a rich conceptualization of each client so as to best align a child’s and family’s needs with clinical practice and empirical research.
