Renee Cadwell earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Pennsylvania Western University (Cal U) in 2023. Renee is currently pursuing hours towards licensure in order to become a licensed professional counselor. Renee has a heart and passion for mental health and helping others to live fully, authentic lives. Her ultimate goal for counseling is to provide a warm, inviting, safe, and judgement free space for clients and for them to know that they are not alone. She believes that everyone is the expert of their own life; however, when life gets messy and it will, sometimes a little help and support is needed along the way. Renee has experience working in community and university settings with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, college students, and the elderly. Further, she has worked with a range of mental health symptoms including but not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Renee identifies primarily as a cognitive behavioral therapist; however, she utilizes other theoretical orientations to best support the client in order to help meet their goals.
