Brittany is a pre-licensed counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of Phoenix. She has experience in a variety of settings working in wrap-around services for children and families struggling with autism, attention deficit disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. She has also provided consultation services for teachers, schools, and families. Brittany believes the process of healing involves an integration of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based approaches. She uses evidence-based interventions including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavior Therapy to empower her clients and promote independence. She enjoys working with anxiety disorders, depression and suicide, trauma-related disorders, attention deficit disorder, stress management, and parenting. She is passionate about striving for a healthy and balanced mind, body, and spirit. She encourages her clients to focus on a healthy lifestyle by eating balanced meals, getting proper amounts of sleep, engaging in physical activity, utilizing deep breathing, and laughing often. She enjoys traveling, the outdoors, reading, meditation and yoga, and spending time with her husband and young children.
