Trevor Stiffler is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing effective and inspired change to those in need. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and then completed his Master’s Degree at University of Pittsburgh in 2013. Trevor has certifications in Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. He specializes in working with individuals that have experienced recent traumas, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and gambling/alcohol/pornography addictions. Trevor also has experience working with couples using Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Trevor keeps things simple, with a concentration on what has brought you here and your search for solutions. He has a passion to help young adults and teenagers by using cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a strengths perspective. Cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based therapy can significantly improve quality of life and can offer effective treatments for problem behaviors and complex trauma-related symptoms. Mindfulness seeks to improve our awareness of our thoughts and feelings with the goal of a non-judgmental acceptance that does not attach or react. The goal is to have more relaxation, stress reduction, the alleviation and prevention of depression and anxiety. Trevor is passionate about helping others; assisting individuals see their true potential, and striving for a better tomorrow.
